On the 15th December 1984 the first single released from the Chess album "One Night In Bangkok" by Murray Head peaked at number 12 in the UK singles chart in the same week that the original version of "Do They Know Its Christmas" entered the chart at number 1 and Wham's "Last Christmas" was at number 2.
The single was a huge hit across Europe and further afield including Australia, South Africa and the US reaching number 1 in a number of countries.
