Abba Date - 31st December 1981
On the 31st December 1981 Abba's latest single in America "When All Is Said And Done" entered the Billboard charts where it performed well in three of the charts -
- Billboard Hot 100 - number 27
- Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart - number 10
- Billboard Dance / Disco Chart - number 7

Goodbye 2014...
Well it's the last day of 2014 and it has been a great year for Abba fans around the world. The 40th Anniversary celebrations certainly lived up to expectations - my highlights were the photo book and the release of "Abba Live At Wembley Arena".

Agnetha The Fan Magazine #5
The 5th issue of the Agnetha Fan Magazine was published during August 1985 and included news / features -
- Copies of the first two issues of the magazine had been sent to Agnetha and she had returned them signed together with a signed "Eyes Of A Woman" postcard
- A few of the readers letters commented on Epic's lack of promotion for Agnetha's single "One Way Love"
- One lucky reader told the story of his meeting with Agnetha in 1979
- Lots of readers reviews of "Eyes Of A Woman" mostly commenting that "The Angels Cry" would have been a better single than "I Won't Let You Go"

Collection - Frida 7" Single
The most recent Frida 7" single to be added to my collection is "Here We'll Stay" (b-side "Strangers") from Japan on the Discomate record label.

Abba Date - 22nd December 1979
On the 22nd December 1979 Abba's latest single in the UK "I Have A Dream" jumped up the singles chart from number 21 to number 2 in the Christmas chart. The top five that week was as follows -
- Pink Floyd "Another Brick In The Wall"
- Abba "I Have A Dream"
- Police "Walking On The Moon"
- Fiddler's Dram "Day Trip To Bangor (Didn't We Have A Lovely Time)"
- Tourists "I Only Want To Be With You"
During 1979 the sales of 7" singles hit a peak in the UK and it was also the year in which Abba had the most Top 10 hits in the UK -
- "Chiquitita" - number 2
- "Does Your Mother Know" - number 4
- "Angeleyes / Voulez-Vouz" - number 3
- "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" - number 3
- "I Have A Dream" - number 2
These five singles spent a total of 51 weeks in the charts.
The single was also a big hit in other countries reaching number 1 in Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland.
