On the 14th October 1977 Abba released their latest single "The Name Of The Game" in the UK - the single entered the chart at number 20 the following week climbing up to the number 1 spot on the 5th November where it stayed for 4 weeks.
The single (which was the 13th biggest seller of the year in the UK) replaced Baccara's "Yes Sir I Can Boogie" upon reaching number 1 and was eventually replaced by Wings "Mull Of Kintyre".
