The 22nd issue of the International Abba Magazine was published in September 1983 and featured a picture of Benny on the front cover. The editorial section included the following updates -
- Agnetha's next single in the UK "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" had been released whilst "The Heat Is On" had not yet left the charts
- Frida's latest single in the UK "Here We'll Stay" peaked at number 100
- In America and Japan "Can't Shake Loose" had been selected as Agnetha's second solo single
The first article in the magazine covered the wedding of Tomas Ledin to Stig's daughter Marie which was attended by Bjorn, Benny and Agnetha - this included pictures of Agnetha dancing and Benny playing the accordion.
The next article documented an Abba Disco which had taken place the previous June in London - this was briefly mentioned in issue 21 - and included pictures from the event and details of the various prizes given.
The final part of "Abba The Movie - The Story" was the next article and included Abba meeting the DJ in the lift, singing "Eagle" and the group leaving Australia.
The magazine then included news that Abba would be included on a stamp which was being issued in Sweden as part of a series celebrating the countries musical heritage.
