On the 10th February 1979 ABBA's latest single in the UK "Chiquitita" hit the number 2 spot on the official singles chart. The top 5 selling singles in the UK that week were;
- Blondie "Heart Of Glass"
- ABBA "Chiquitita"
- Three Degrees "Woman In Love"
- Ian And The Blockheads "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick"
- Shadows "Don't Cry For Me Argentina"
The single did hit the number 1 spot in a number of countries including Costa Rica, Ireland, Finland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain.
