On the 12th October 1979 Abba released their latest single in the UK "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight)" ; it was only one to be released by Epic with two different labels - orange and blue - as shown below.
The single reached number 3 in the UK in November however it reached number 1 in Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Japan and Switzerland. Chart positions in other countries were as follows -
- Number 2 - Austria, Netherlands, Norway
- Number 3 - France, Germany
- Number 6 - Portugal
- Number 8 - Australia
- Number 15 - New Zealand
- Number 16 - South Africa, Sweden
