Abba Date -"Arrival" Album Tops UK Album Charts

During this week in 1977 Abba's latest album "Arrival" reached the top of the UK album charts for the second time (the album had been number 1 for a week in January) where it stayed for nine weeks. 

The top 5 selling albums in the UK that were were as follows -

1. Abba "Arrival"
2. Frank Sinatra "Portrait Of Sinatra"
3. The Shadows "20 Golden Greats"
4. Glenn Miller "The Unforgettable Glenn Miller"
5. The Hollies "Hollies Live Hits"

In the UK "Arrival" was the biggest selling album of the year whilst Abba's "Greatest Hits" was number 9 on the year end chart.
