On the 23rd October 1982 Abba's latest single "The Day Before You Came" entered the UK singles chart. The single would eventually peak at number 32 in the chart which was the same chart placing reached by "Ring Ring" in 1974 and the lowest position since "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" which reached number 38 in 1975.
