Abba Date - 3rd September 1976

On the 3rd September 1976 Abba's single "Dancing Queen" entered the charts in New Zealand where it would stay for 23 weeks including 4 at the top of the chart. This year was particularly successful in New Zealand for Abba where the group had 7 singles in the charts as follows - 

• Mamma Mia (number 2)
• Fernando (number 1)
• Ring Ring (number 17)
• Hasta Manana / So Long (number 9)
• Dancing Queen (number 1)
• Money, Money, Money (number 1)
• I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do (number 2)
