February 1988 - Agnetha releases "I Stand Alone"

On the 28th February 1976 ABBA were in a photo shoot with German photographer Bubbi Heilemann during which the group were pictured with the letters of their name - Benny turned his "B" around and a logo was born....

Abba Hit Included On New Compilation Box Set
Abba's classic track "The Winner Takes It All" is included on a new "Magic" compilation box set which is issued in the UK today - the 3 CD collection also includes tracks from Fleetwood Mac, Whitney Houston, Erasure, Eurythmics, Kylie and Blondie...

Abba Date - 24th February 1976
On the 24th February 1976 Abba were in France where they performed "Fernando" on the TV show Midi-Premiere...
Abba Date - 24th February 1979
On the 24th February 1979 the Record Mirror included Agnetha and Liz from Boney M on the front cover as part of their feature covering the filming of the "Abba In Switzerland" TV special. The article, which was over three pages, included comments from all of the performers including Kate Bush, Boney M and Roxy Music.
Abba were also mentioned in serval places in the paper including an interview with Bjorn where he mentions the group's plans for a tour later in 1979 and "Chiquitita" appearing in the singles chart.
