ABBA Magazine #23

Issue number 23 of the Abba Magazine was published in April 1980 - the front cover showed a picture of the group at Heathrow Airport in London prior to flying to Tokyo for the concerts scheduled in Japan.

The main focus of the editorial section was around the Spanish language album which was being previewed for Spanish and South American record executives at a music business event in France.
The magazine itself included three main articles, the first covered behind the scenes activities during the 1979 tour, the second discussed John Spaldings work for the group and lastly reviews and feedback from the 1979 concert from fans.

The on-going Abba story in comic book format reached part 8 which included the groups visit to America in 1975 and the Abba-mania in Australia.
