ABBA Shop Display

Below is a picture of an ABBA shop display which I bought at a record fair a few years ago. The display was produced by the Polydor record company and is based on a set of photos taken by the Bravo photographer Wolfgang Heilemann during a photo session on 18th November 1980.

ABBA book added to my collection...

I have just added a new ABBA book to my collection - "The Complete ABBA - A 40th Anniversary Celebration" written by Simon Sheridan. The book provides details of the groups early years, followed by a review of each single / album release then ends with Mamma Mia, Abbaworld and the release of the Super Trouper Deluxe CD and the "Somewhere In The Crowd There's You" video.

July 24th 1975 - Bang-a-boomerang released in France

Today, 24th July, in 1975 ABBA released Bang-a-boomerang with SOS (which you would think was the wrong way round) as the B side in France on Vogue records...

New ABBA 7" Singles

This week I have added two new 7" singles to my ABBA collection. The first is Voulez-Vous / Does Your Mother Know which was released in Bulgaria.

The second was Dancing Queen which was imported from Japan
