Abba Date - 5th August 1979

On the 5th August 1979 Abba's latest single in the UK "Angeleyes / Voulez-Vous" reached number 3 in the charts. The top five selling singles in the UK that week was as follows -
  1. The Boomtown Rats - "I Don't Like Mondays"
  2. Cliff Richard - "We Don't Talk Anymore"
  3. Abba - "Angeleyes / Voulez-Vous"
  4. The Police - "Cant Stand Loosing You"
  5. The Dooleys - "Wanted"

    Always thought Angeleyes was the much better track, one of my fav ABBA songs
